Justice for Farkhunda

Farkhunda, an Afghan girl who studied Islamic Sharia, was brutally beaten and burned to death on 19th March 2015, in Kabul. This brutal attack by the mob happened after a clergy of the Shah Do-Shamshera Mosque blamed her of burning the Quran–an allegation, that is reported to be false.

To commemorate Farkhunda and advocate for justice to her by prosecuting those who had taken part in this crime, a candle night program was organized by Asia Culture House team on 22nd March 2015. It was organized by young male and female activists.
